Game changer for our growing business
I am a big fan of Budgyt. It really was a game changer for our growing business. Incredibly flexible, and the reporting tools are great. It also allows you to be incredibly granular, which is incredibly important to me.

Great product for mid-sized organizations
Budgyt is great for instant consolidation of a multi-department and multi-entity organization. It has strong hierarchy and roll-ups at various levels. Excellent capability in salary and benefit calculation, for instance down to each type of state and federal tax, and each type of employee health benefit.
Very pleased with Budgyt
Very competitive pricing for a full-featured FP&A package. Excellent support for installation and ability to influence future feature set. Great user security, number of users and number of departments supported. Considered Datarails, Cube, and Workday Adaptive Planning. Budgyt has a similar feature-set but was more economical.
Excellent product
Excellent customer service which is most important. User friendly, most non accounting staff can navigate and be in charge of their own budgets.

I found a small programming issue on a report that I brought to James (Founder and CEO) attention, and received a same day response, with a follow up that the issue would be resolved within 3 business days. Now that's service.
A powerful budgeting tool
Budgyt is a powerful tool that can help your organization with financial management. The implementation team is knowledgeable and helps you get off the ground. The employee module and related HR formulas are great tools to help budget and forecast personnel costs. Budgyt does not break like an Excel workbook can break.
Easy to implement and a great time saver
More than 95% of our costs are payroll and contractor related and we are a global company with employees and contractors in approx 30 countries. Budgeting against those costs in Excel spreadsheets was a nightmare. Budgyt has made this so much easier and saved us a huge amount of time.

Budgyt platform is great
The Budgyt platform has made my budgeting process so much easier. Being able to move away from using multiple, linked Excel spreadsheets has been great. The employee module and the formulas modules are excellent. The customer service is also exceptional.
Robust payroll budgeting module
Recently Budgyt added the ability to roll up departments into regions and regions into entities, so essentially three layers. This will allow us to budget multiple locations under one entity wherever this is needed.

The cloud-based user-friendly interface sets up easily and makes for easy input and tracking of expenses. The ability to customize and create forecasts is instrumental in helping us stay on track with financial goals. Overall, Budgyt has improved our budgeting process, reduced labor costs, and helps to avoid keying errors.

Ease of use, this tool really helps and reduces error. I love it and can manipulate. Switched from Excel because Excel was error prone, I love the relational database.
Build a new budget scenario in 3 minutes
I use QuickBooks desktop and have a budget of around $5M per year. QuickBooks budget module is very limited. By using Budgyt, I am able to slice and dice revenue and expenses and compare multiple years of actual expenses against budgeted values. I can build a new budget scenario in about 3 minutes and make adjustments to reforecast.
No more dreaded #REFs in our workbooks
We use Budgyt for a large volume of entities in our group of companies. It has saved a considerable amount of time in our combined and consolidated income statement processes. It has also enabled more transparency to users of the financial statements who are given access to Budgyt. We are thankful we no longer see the dreaded #REFs in our combined and consolidated workbooks.

I use Budgyt to summarize 22 different service programs for our agency. Program personnel constantly changes and cost fluctuation needs to be controlled. Budgyt made this possible for me. Budgyt provides a transparent overview of finance results in a quickly changing environment. The platform is flexible for me to include additional programs.
Best budgeting tool
We use Budgyt for budgeting and forecasting and it helps us solve the problems we used to face while using Excel, as we have multiple companies and multiple departments involved in our annual budget. It's a user-friendly tool and easy to learn, and makes our day-to-day life easy. The HR module is quite interesting where we can set up the whole payroll for budgeting.
Four years in, no dislikes
I now have four years with the software and have the ability to use the data and reports to make decisions based on a period of years. I have no dislikes with the software. The team at Budgyt work hard and provide great customer service. I needed a custom chart for a Board meeting, and the team was able to provide it.
Perfect for our business

Making life easy without Excel

It is very easy to understand and nearly every time I have a question, I am able to find the solution on Budgyt's support page. Honestly can't think of any cons, very few workarounds had to be administered.
Answers to my prayers
I spent years doing our budget in Excel and printing out pages for managers to manually make changes. It took 6 to 8 weeks to come up with our budget and the payroll side was never accurate. Budgyt solved all of that. No doubt one of the best experiences with a software and a software vendor I have ever had.
