Budgyt Inc. ("the Company") is committed to conducting its business in a lawful and ethical manner and expects the same commitment from its employees, suppliers, and other business partners. This statement is made in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the steps that Budgyt has taken, and is continuing to take, to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain.

Our Business

Budgyt is a budgeting software company that provides a user-friendly platform for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Our operations are primarily based in the United States.

Our Policies

Budgyt has implemented a number of internal policies to ensure that we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. These include:

1. Code of Conduct - This code sets out the organization's expectations of employees in relation to their conduct.
2. Recruitment Policy - The Company uses only specified, reputable employment agencies to source labor and always verifies the practices of any new agency it is using before accepting workers from that agency.
3. Whistleblowing Policy - The Company encourages all its workers, customers, and other business partners to report any concerns related to the direct activities, or the supply chains of, the organization.

Our Supply Chains

While we consider our exposure to modern slavery to be limited given the nature of our business, we understand that our supply chain can be a potential area of risk. We expect all suppliers to adhere to our values and to have suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and processes in place within their own businesses.

Due Diligence Processes for Slavery and Human Trafficking

Budgyt undertakes due diligence when considering taking on new suppliers, and regularly reviews its existing suppliers. This due diligence includes an online search to ensure that particular organization has never been convicted of offenses relating to modern slavery and on-site audits which include a review of all working conditions.

Training

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff. We also require our business partners to provide training to their staff, suppliers, and providers.
